Resources for Comfort, Resiliency and Learning

There are so many amazing resources available that can help you talk to your children, friends and family about what is happening in Israel. To help with these challenging conversations, our rabbis have put together a collection of resources for children, teens and people of all ages to provide comfort and education during these trying times.

Resources for Children:

1) Here are two articles about talking to children about the conflict in Israel, not specifically related to the current crisis, but still valuable: Forward article from 2015 and an article on the Reform Judaism website.

2) Prayers offered by the CCAR. (Professional organization for Reform Rabbis) that are most appropriate for teens and adults to use for themselves.

3) A coloring sheet for younger children.  The coloring sheet may feel frivolous, but can be used with younger ones (or adults!) to express our hopes for a bright future for our homeland and express ourselves through art.
