Music is an integral part of our Jewish experience. It is what transforms our services from something we attend into something we feel. As the poet once wrote, “When the heart is full, it bursts forth in song—words become melody, and melody becomes prayer.”
At Temple Israel, our worship is deeply enriched by the talented musicians who share their gifts with us. Through music, we experience the Divine in ways that words alone cannot reach. It is the voices and artistry of our professionals that make those moments soar.
Our guest cantors and musicians bring warmth and holiness to our Shabbat experience, and Courtney Cummings’s extraordinary voice—together with our choir—lifts our High Holiday and festival services to new spiritual heights. Their skill and presence allow each of us to feel more connected, inspired, and moved.
These moments of shared spiritual elevation are only possible through dedicated resources. To maintain and enhance the quality and vibrancy of our musical programming, we need your support.
