Rabbi’s Message – September 22, 2022
Sunday night we welcome in the New Year, Rosh Hashanah. Let me take a moment to wish each of you a happy and healthy 5783. I hope you will join us for services, in person or online, and that you graciously extend the invitation to others. We don’t want to miss this opportunity for spiritual growth. It is a special time dedicated to spiritual renewal when we are encouraged to recalibrate our souls and ensure our life choices reflect our values. I am looking forward to engaging in the work of our hearts together, taking time to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. Truly, it is a privilege to travel this path with you.
Each of you is a valued member of our community. Your presence helps elevate our prayers and strengthen our congregation. Over the past few years, we have learned we cannot take community for granted. Though I know it isn’t easy to take time away from daily obligations, I still hope we each try our best to come together as a sacred congregation during the Days of Awe. I look forward to seeing your familiar faces in the days and weeks to come. May we all find the renewal we seek and be written in the Book of Life.
