If you’ve ever been part of the Jewish Cultural Festival, you know—there’s no such thing as just showing up. Over the years, we all ended up wearing a lot of hats. We volunteer, we pitch in wherever we’re needed, and in the process, we become part of something much bigger than a single day.

The JCF isn’t just a festival. It’s how we open our doors to the broader community. It’s how we share who we are—through food, music, conversation, and yes, even a really good hot dog. It’s a chance to break down misconceptions, build connections, and create a space that feels welcoming, relaxed, and joyful for everyone who walks through.

But here’s the part most people don’t see.

Every bagel, every baked good, every bottle of water, every hot dog (and veggie dog!)—all of it has to be purchased ahead of time. The containers, the supplies, the little things that add up quickly—those are what make the festival possible before a single guest even arrives.
