My parents were born in Poland.  They moved time and again as the Nazis overran Poland, Antwerp, Belgium, where I was born, and then Brussels.  In Brussels the Nazis put out daily edicts making life extremely difficult for all Jews.  My parents felt that even though they may get caught by the Nazis they wanted me to go on living.  My mother approached the Mother Superior of a convent who made arrangements with the nuns to have me hidden when I was just three years old.  This is the my story about how, where, why and my feelings about being hidden.
