Foundation

Temple Israel established a separate foundation to solicit, receive and manage the investment of major gifts to the congregation. Gifts and bequests from Temple members and friends have created an endowment that supports Temple Israel now and secure its future. In addition to general operating support of Temple, Foundation funds help send children of Temple members to Goldman Union Camp Institute, the Jewish summer camp operated by the Union for Reform Judaism in Indiana, and provide scholarship loans to members attending college, graduate and professional schools.
