Day of Learning – Purim

Purim
Sunday, March 17 – 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

All you ever wanted to know about Purim, but were afraid to ask!  Come join us for a day of learning all about Purim – with sessions for tots through adults and everyone in between.  Here’s an overview of the day:

We’ll start all together in the sanctuary to kick the day off with an opening session and t’filah.  Then, we’ll continue in a choose-your-own-adventure style with sessions throughout the morning and a free lunch, compliments of the Religious School Committee.  We’ll wrap our learning and doing at 1:00 p.m.

All sessions will be tagged with the target audience’s age group: tot, elementary, middle school, teens or adults.  Sessions will include: hamentashen-making, grogger-making, Mishloach Manot, learn about the Purim story, and more; including a closer look at the opening of the Purim story and what Judaism has to say about our bodies and consent.

See Rabbi Sobo for more details.
